We were approached by a successful I.T. business man who was completely gutting, renovating & extending the home his family had been living in since 1985.
They had very sensibly moved out of the house while this was all happening.

We were approached at a fairly late stage of the renovation but it was a single storey house with ceiling space everywhere except the cellar & therefore did not present any issues for the implementation of the Clipsal C-bus automation system.

This client wanted the battleship grey surrounds for his colour touch screen , black & white touch screen & the DLT switches , to match the colour scheme of the plug sockets he had chosen for the house.

The client also wanted a basic system because his intention is to take over the programming of his house after handover. His I.T. background gives him the necessary skills to tackle that.

The project was handed over with full documentation & a CD with the programme files & software. Basic training was given to the client at that time.

From initial contact with the client to full handover of the system was less than 3 months & would have been even quicker but there were delays on site due to circumstances outside of our control with other contractors.

His wife told me that 25 years ago he had a dream of an automated house & now finally he had achieved that dream. !!

But now his dream has grown because with C-bus anything is possible !!

Already this client wants to add onto his system , he is now dreaming of probes in the soil to control irrigation of his garden , many different scenes to enhance his lifestyle , temperature sensors to turn on under floor heating etc etc .
